Call for artist- collectives for Kunstcamping 2006
Organisation de KunstCamping invites artist-collectives from the Netherlands (from the province of Brabant) and neighbouring countries Belgium and Germany to set up camp at their ‘campsite’ and create a site-specific artwork for an outdoor exhibition in June 2006. The site/space is project's overarching theme.

True to its in situ diffusion approach under the theme CITÉINVISIBLE/INVISIBLE CITY Champ Libre presents its 7th edition of the Manifestation Internationale Vidéo et Art Électronique, Montreal, biennial event, to take place in an urban site currently under transformation. During this unique event, Quebec’s national library, a new place of knowledge and of culture in Montreal (to be inaugurated in April 2005) and situated in the Ville-Marie borough, will be inifiltrated and set up to receive an interdisciplinary program and multi-network presentation that is to draw from the fields of video, electronic arts, architecture and urbanism.

Connection Barents

Join the artistic expeditions through the borderlands of Norway, Finland, Sweden and Russia; the Barents region.

From June 17 to July 2, 2006 a 2 week inter-disciplinary laboratory and symposium takes place at the very top of the Nordic countries. More than 25 artists from North-West Russia and the Nordic and Baltic countries are encouraged to share local and international, traditional and contemporary art and culture.

The Singaporean leader of TheatreWorks Ong Keng Sen will be your artistic pilot, guiding you through the research laboratory. Local and visiting artists will interrogate artistic contexts of the Barents region and develop a series of collaborative strategies for presenting visions for everyday life.

Professional artists
within the fields of visual arts, music, literature and performing arts are invited to check-in before February 6, 2006.

Die Dr. Meyer-Struckmann-Stiftung fördert Wissenschaft und Forschung, insbesondere im Bereich der Kultur- und Geisteswissenschaften. Die Stiftungsmittel stammen aus dem Nachlass des Stifters, Dr. Fritz Meyer-Struckmann, Bankier in Essen. Der Preis ist mit 20.000 EUR dotiert und wird ab 2006 jährlich zu wechselnden Themen vergeben.

Residence in Artist’s Studio in Willisau, Switzerland
The Stadtmühle Willisau puts a studio at the disposal of artists from Switzerland and other countries working in the scope of graphic art, literature, theatre or music.
In addition there is paid a contribution to the living expenses. Basic knowledge of German recommended.
The studio is situated in the ancient, redecorated town-mill, which also serves as a regional culture centre.
The studio measures 37 square metre and has a height of 2 metres.
Applications for a 3-months-stay between 1 Jannuary 2007 and 31 December 2007 have to be sent by 28 February 2006 to: Stadtmuehle Willisau, Mr Stefan Zollinger, Mueligass 7, Postfach 3260, CH-6130 Willisau, Switzerland. Please specify the period you wish to stay at the studio.
