Paulina Olszewska
Because of my background- being born in a communist country and grew up in a new capitalistic reality- I like to observe and comment on the changes, existing differences and similarities, between, so called „East and West”. I explore problems of gender, as well as cultural, political, or historical identity.
I am especially interested in cooperating with young, emerging artists who deal with installation, performance, video art and new media. It does not mean that I will refuse working with other, classical arts. I like to involve myself in challenging projects, which will give me opportunity for further development and will broaden my knowledge.
