Tatjana Fell
Main interests within my curatorial work are context related art projects which operate on the edges of science/architecture/politics/philosophy and theory and take into account a broader public via discussions, talks, workshops and participatory elements.
Similar to my individual art projects, my curatorial projects are process oriented and mainly run on a long term basis. Topics are the research of potentials and mechanisms, order systems and hierarchical structures. Reflecting, questioning and visualizing fundamentals of collaborative actions within the art community and researching the art system and the special role of the artist within is an additional viewpoint of my practice.
As a curator, art director and project developer I am working since 2005 for arttransponder Berlin, an independent art initiative and platform for discussions and exchange focussing on interdisciplinary, site specific, participatory and temporary art practices. Its emphasis is on art which integrates the complexity of production, presentation and reception, as well as locates itself within and links to current discourses and theory in Berlin since 2005 http://www.arttransponder.net
In 2013 my work primarily is dedicated to the development of the project RADICANT NETWORKS, an interdiciplinary exchange-, research & cooperation platform for contemporary art practice and critical discourse focussing on space, mobility and traverse, which I initated in 2011. Radicant Networks offers different formats and consists out of numerous punctual fusions of personal encounters with artists, curators, art initiatives, cultural workers, theoreticians, scientists. It was inspired by Nicolas Bourriauds writings "the radicant". This vital exchange reveals its effects, melting points and synergetic rays as semantic dots, orbiting on the invisible traces of artistic networks. http://www.radicant-networks.net
Still ongoing in 2013 with its start in 2011, I developed and organized flashlights, a set of interdiciplinary workshops highlighting knowledge sharing in cooperation with Andrzej Raszyk http://www.facebook.com/flashlightsworkshops as well as the project
RAM /Random Access Memory in 2011, with its core on new approaches for active data usage, as well in cooperation with Andrzej Raszyk. http://www.RAM-projects.net
Between 2008 and 2010 I curated projects and exhibitions for CATALYST an interdiciplinary art initative and collaboration space, located in Berlin Prenzlauerberg. The mainly solo art shows were theme based, selected and put together by researching special topics. http://www.tatjanafell.net/172.0.html,

RAM-Random Access Memory
RAM explores ways of dynamic access to stored data and view and discuss these resources as an active ingredient, which will be linked to current issues and embedded in specific contextual fields.
RAM is a shift from a permanent state of saving to a permanent state of transmission. RAM travels back and forth in time finding artistic, technical, theoretical, psychological, sociological, philosophical, political, retrospective and futuristic approaches. RAM applies them to the growing collection and overlays of materialized data.

Revolution – What Revolution? Against what, what for, with whom and how?
Is political art dead?
Statements and prognoses of theoreticians, scientists, curators and artists give reason for this diagnosis.Evolution as solution? How critical, how resistant are we, against what we refer our resistance? How does resistance change us? How are political postures and art practice configured which devote themselves to the theme and claim socially impact, reveal power structures and hierarchies? And consequentially - how are methods, technique and self-understanding of contemporary art collectives are designed?
