This is an incomplete chart of the world's current small arms market. 910 weapons produced by 171 companies in 47 countries have been collected from Internet sources and placed in alphabetical order, reminiscent of a butterfly collection.
Most of the products can be purchased online.
Hunting arms are not covered.

The two works are realized after a research aiming to analyze the non-economical function of the money.
They are visual articles that introduce a reorganization of collected information.
The terms are listed according to their etymological and historical relations under a new hierarchy.
The works document further functions of money such as advertisement and propaganda tool, symbol of stability and security, and especially symbol of regions, religions and rulers.
By Currency Genealogy I emphasize the inheritance between several cultures.
As the American Dollar comes from 16th century German Joahimsthaler or the German/Austrian Groschen and Turkish Kurus are grandchildren of Roman Grossus Denarius or the popular name of “Dollar” which reaches through colonial history to all continents as Daler in Denmark and northern Europe, Daaler in Netherlands, Talara in Poland, Dala in Hawaii, Tala in Western Samoa, Talari in Ethiopia comes from the Joachimsthaler Guldengroschen, which is shortened as Thaler, first coined by the counts of Schlick at Joachimsthal, Bohemia, in 1519.
